Subject:  Darien Light’s Brigade Online Auction

 

Dear Family and Friends,

Darien’s long awaited dream of a lighted stadium field is on the verge of becoming a reality, yet the reality is, the Darien Light’s Brigade is still $125,000 short of reaching its goal. The DLB needs to raise this money by May 1st and they need our help. An online auction has been launched on www.djfl.org, which will give you an opportunity to bid on 10 great auction items that have been generously donated by people in town. The auction items up for bid are:

  1. Stag For a Day – donated by Fairfield University
  2. Big Sky Mountain Home – donated by Marla and Jason Chandler
  3. BBQ Party for 100 People – donated by Darien Butcher Shop
  4. NFL Draft – donated by Cindy and Brian Rolapp
  5. EPOD Custom Swag – donated by EPOD
  6. Friday Night Lights – Coin toss and sideline pass for 4 people for the first Friday night football game
  7. Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen – donated by Sheila and Sean O’Boyle
  8. Luxury Montauk Home – donated by Erin and Chris Levine
  9. Nantucket Cottage - donated by Marilyn and Ken Fahrman
  10. BC vs ND Football Tickets - donated by Chris Harwick

For the Darien community at large, a lighted stadium provides the opportunity for “Friday Night Lights” an event that has proven to draw people together and allow opportunities for families with children of all ages to connect and celebrate! With the financial support of the entire community, this dream is close to becoming a reality.
